Lady Gaga has been busy with many activities and projects this year, from the release of her latest album to hosting SNL. Recently, the Abracadabra crooner went on the Las Culturistas podcast, where she talked about her life as of late and all the projects she has worked on and will work on.
On the March 11 episode of the podcast, Lady Gaga revealed her desire to compose a musical for Broadway.
Towards the end of the podcast, Matt Rogers, one of the hosts, asked Lady Gaga a direct question about her career.
"Is there still a part of you that would do musical theater in a mainstream sense? Like, would you go and do Broadway? And if so, is there a role?"
The 38-year-old singer responded positively.
"I think so? Yes, I think I would love to write a musical... a new one."
"That would give me the ultimate joy—crafting all the music, working with amazing writers on developing the story and the script, and then, you know, the stage design and the costumes. Yeah, and like maybe I'd be in it too," Lady Gaga added.

American pop icon Stefani Germanotta joined Las Culturistas podcast hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers on the March 11 episode of the show. The singer revealed a lot on the show. She talked about her recent achievements, the importance of her latest tour, her recent hosting of SNL, The Chromatica Ball, and her newly released 7th studio album.
The episode was posted on the official iHeartRadio YouTube channel with the description:
"So... LADY GAGA is on Las Culturistas. Somehow, we've reached the moment where the timeless artist herself sits down with Matt and Bowen to sort through the MAYHEM. The three chat about Gaga's incredible seventh album, rain as production value, choosing "Shallow" to perform at SNL50 and just how important SNL is to Lady Gaga and all the musical artists who get the opportunity to guest on the show."
It continues:
"Also, speaking up on trans rights at the Grammys, a tiny little preview of Coachella (but not really), Broadway hopes and dreams, whether or not a lighthearted film is in Gaga's future and how community is truly everything. What a perfect day! What a perfect pop icon for us all! And what perfect MAYHEM! Check out the album if you... haven't?"
Among all the fascinating revelations and discussions on the podcast, one interesting highlight of the episode was the 'I Don't Think So Honey' segment. Rogers made his about elephants, and Yang's rant was about Hot Ones. Lady Gaga made her 'I Don't Think So Honey' segment about the segment!
"I don't think so, honey, that you guys are putting me on the spot to do this. I don't think I like to rant. I hate ranting at people. I feel super uncomfortable right now I'm shaking. Seriously I would love to go on stage and sing and change my outfits and pick my wigs and write some songs and make albums and go on tours but I do not want to rant about anything."
Her rant continued:
"It is so scary to me; I feel scared; I want to cry. But I don't think so that you are putting me on this spot," the Pop star added.
Towards the end of the podcast, they discussed Lady Gaga's headlining of Coachella 2025 and rounded off the episode with a rendition of their signature song, Killer.
