Two decades after starting in the R&B scene, Keyshia Cole is all set to take the stage to celebrate the album that started it all.

The Grammy-nominated artist has officially announced The Way It Is – 20th Anniversary Tour. It is a global arena tour that will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of her 2005 debut album The Way It Is.

The trek is set to kick off on July 1, 2025, in Baltimore. The tour will travel across multiple cities in North America before heading to Europe in September 2025. It will see a rotating lineup of special guests and a limited vinyl release, reports suggest.

Keyshia Cole took to her official Instagram to announce the 20th anniversary tour, The Way It Is. Her post read:

"Celebrating 20 YEARS of THE WAY IT IS!! 🎉💋 You know we had to go BIG with this one!!! Taking this party on the road and bringing @official__tink @wale @lilkimthequeenbee @fridayy @jeremih with special guests @tpain @officialswv @jadakiss and more!! Tickets on sale Friday, April 25 at 10am local at thewayitis20.com #thewayitis20 #tourannouncement #rnbmusic #keyshiacole #tour #IChangedMyMind #Focused #LFG #ADreamComeTrue #Love"

Keyshia first caught the attention of fans and enthusiasts with The Way It Is. The album featured beloved tracks like Love and I Should Have Cheated. Her music was arguably able to strike a chord in the mid-2000s and helped shape a new wave of contemporary R&B.

The album went platinum and charted singles. However, Keyshia Cole never toured the project at the time of its release. Now, she seems to give the album the full-stage treatment it never received, two decades later.

Stereoboard reports that in a statement, the beloved R&B artist shared:

"I am so grateful to be celebrating The Way It Is 20 years later with the fans who have been with me since day one. This album changed my life, and being able to take it on the road — from city to city, country to country — is truly a full circle moment, and blessing."
