J-Hope's debut Mona Lisa

J-Hope recently released his new song, Sweet Dreams on March 7. It was a collaboration with the Grammy-winning artist Miguel and when he sang this soulful and romantic song, fans were undoubtedly left in awe.

However, J-Hope took an extra step and excited the fans when he debuted his upcoming single, Mona Lisa, the song is inspired by feelings of love and has a smooth and enchanting tone. Fans loved this surprise and shared the moment on social media.


The OT7 4-Ever chants

Being a part of the seven-member BTS boy band, J-Hope sang MIC Drop, a 2017 BTS song, and was a part of the album, Love Yourself: Her. It is a hip-hop track about the success and confidence of BTS.

When he sang this song at the concert, it took the fans down memory lane and they were quick to shout the full OT7 fan chant, basically calling out the names of all seven BTS members. J-Hope also waved back, and this sweet moment showed how much the fans remember and support the BTS gang.

Before joining BTS, J-Hope was a part of an underground street dance crew in Gwangju, South Korea. His crew joined to honor his journey from being a street dancer to a solo performer at a concert in New York.

Another fun moment of his concert in New York was when at the end of show J- Hope wanted to speak Korean, so he got permission from the audience. He asked them to repeat in Korean “한국말 해줘!”, which means "Please speak in Korean!" The moment got even better when he sang his 2019 single, Chicken Noodle Soup, the song that took him to the Billboard Hot 100, the first BTS member to achieve that milestone.

The song has verses in Spanish and when he was singing this song, the audience joined him and sang the Spanish part, making the concert fun with languages.

His songs explore deep themes like struggles and the reminder that light comes after darkness. During the concert, he performed on tracks like Equal Sign, a song from his 2022 album, Jack in the Box.
