Rosé performed APT with Coldplay at their latest concert. Coldplay’s ongoing Music of Spheres 2025 concert in Seoul, South Korea, has been making headlines due to the number of K-pop stars invited to perform on stage.

Last time, Jin of BTS surprised the audience with a thrilling performance with Coldplay. Now, Rosé, a member of the globally recognised K-pop group, BLACKPINK, stunned the audience with a surprising performance.

After Jin had an emotional reunion with the British boy band and TWICE gave an impactful performance with Coldplay, the audience's expectations for the next shows were raised to an all-time high. Sure enough, Coldplay didn't disappoint as they brought out BLACKPINK’s Rosé as the next surprise guest artist of their Seoul concert.

A highlight of the show was when the two superstars shared a warm embrace after their performance.

@AboutMusicYT shared the moment on their official X account with the caption:

“Rosé and Chris Martin share a hug on stage.”

The post quickly garnered several reactions as netizens took to the comments section to gush over the warm moment.

Other netizens showered Rosé with praise and admiration, praising her performance:

“Trying not to cry watching rosé who has been covering coldplay for years be invited to perform her own song with them and for chris to say let’s do this again bc it’s that fun. I’m not crying and not jealous at ALL,” @mcumoon said.
“Another rosé successful fangirl full circle moment. went from covering their songs to having coldplay perform her hit song (APT) w/her at their concert in korea not once but twice,” @vampholli stated.
“I’m crying the way no one even knew rosé was going to be at the Coldplay concert, but she still had the crowd more hyped than a certain other act, and Chris even asked her for a repeat of apt after it ended,” @pinksbabymon added.

More details of Rosé at Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour

Before the start of the show, clips of Rosé conducting sound checks for her global hit song APT, featuring Bruno Mars, had already circulated all over social media, so fans were already anticipating her performance.

Rosé appeared on stage after Coldplay's Chris Martin sang the intro of APT wrong. When he asked the crowd if that was the right way to sing the song, Rosé answered instead and showed him how APT is done. The crowd joined the singer in giving an electrifying performance, and as if that wasn't enough, Rosé had to sing the song again after many pleas from the crowd.
