Y2K fashion has been back for a while, with many wearing it, including Tyla during her Coachella Week 2 performance. Netizens have noticed the similarity between the outfit Tyla wore on stage and one worn by Britney Spears more than 20 years ago.
At Coachella, the Queen of Popiano wore a green and purple floral-print bra with body chains and low-rise denim shorts with green tassels to match. For footwear, she opted for ankle-length zebra print booties. The look was compared to Britney Spears' outfit during her MTV VMAs performance in 2001. Britney wore a green bra with pink jewel embellishments, paired with mini bedazzled shorts with a few scarves hanging from the belt. Spears completed the outfit with nude bedazzled knee-high boots.
A Tyla fan account posted the comparison on X:
