The Becky from the Block singer, Becky G, took to her social media handles to announce her upcoming documentary, titled Rebecca, which will debut at the 2025 Tribeca Festival.
Becky G, whose real name is Rebecca Marie Gomez, is well-known for her singles like Shower and Por el Contrario. Her upcoming documentary is centered around her personal and artistic journey. The documentary is scheduled to premiere worldwide on June 12, 2025.
Announcing the debut of her documentary, she wrote on X:
''I am so honored that my documentary will debut at the 2025 Tribecca festival.''
The Tribeca annual film festival starts on June 4 and concludes on June 15.

Popular for Spanish albums, including Esquemas, and Mala Santa, Becky G, on Saturday, April 18, took to her socials to drop an exciting announcement. She announced that her documentary, which has been in the works for quite some time, is all set for a debut.
The debut will be happening on June 12 at the Tribeca festival. Expressing her excitement, she wrote in the caption:
''I can’t believe I am writing this right now… I am so honored that my documentary will debut at the 2025 Tribecca festival. If only younger me could see how far we’ve come…Excited for you all to take a dive into the chapter of my life that this documentary captured.''
Further, she mentioned that the documentary will cover her journey when she created her debut Mexican regional album, Esquinas, which was released in 2023 and was her third Spanish-language album. She also mentioned that the documentary will cover her musical journey, where she performed as a headliner for a tour, and will also give a glimpse into her personal struggles.
She concluded the caption by saying,
''This has been a long time in the making… I bet you think you know a lot about Becky G, but I truly cant wait for you to meet Rebbeca, coming June 12.''
The documentary is produced and directed by Jennifer Tiexiera, known for her work on the 2019 documentary film 17 Blocks and the 2020 documentary P.S. Burn This Letter Please. In 2024, Becky released her fourth album, Encuentros, which made it to number 15 and 9 on the US Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts.
Other than singing, Becky has also appeared in films, including Power Rangers and the animated film Gnome Alone. The Tribeca Festival, 2025, will begin on June 4, and the tickets for the same are available on their official website.
