Lady Gaga, the Just Dance singer, delivered a powerhouse performance last night as the headliner for the opening night of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, 2025, in Indio, California.
Friday, April 11, marked the first weekend of the Coachella festival, and Lady Gaga performed some of her hit songs, including the ones from her recent album, Mayhem. She began her set at 11:10 p.m. PT, and this was her first performance at Coachella since her debut in 2017. She performed around 22 songs as listed by Vulture.

Lady Gaga returned to perform at Coachella, in 2025 after eight whole years. The last time fans witnessed her show-stopping performance was back in 2017. Lady Gaga replaced Beyoncé, who had to cancel her performance due to expecting twins.

These were some of the hit songs she performed last night. Along with singing, the performance was accompanied by dancing, outfit changes, and a giant chessboard while performing the song Poker Face.
Lady Gaga opened the performance with Bloody Mary and was dressed in red and had a black bob. As she completed the set with Bad Romance, the last song, she was dressed in a white ensemble with feathers and sported blonde hair. Other than these two outfits, multiple other fit and wig changes took place in between.
Another performance that caught fans' attention was the one where the stage turned into a chessboard while performing Poker Face. The performance was a dance battle between a group led by Gaga and another veiled group. It ends with Gaga winning the battle.
Gaga also lay in the sand with skeletons while performing on Perfect Celebrity and Disease and played the drums while performing on the opening song for her third act, Killah.
