Lil Nas X has revealed that he is suffering from partial facial paralysis, which means that he has specifically lost control of the right side of his face.

According to his post shared on April 15, 2025, on Instagram, the Grammy-winning artist shared the health update with his fans, along with a caption which read:

“Soooo lost control of the right side of my face.”

In the video clip shared on the social media platform, he is seen laughing from his hospital bed and says,

"This is me doing a full smile by the way," he said in the video and added, "I can't even laugh right, bro. Oh my God!"

He showed more of his paralysis on his Instagram story, where he told his fans that he has been recovering as he has been chewing a lot to make his jaw muscle stronger. “It’s much better.” He said in the video.

The exact cause of his facial paralysis has not been confirmed. However, per the Cleveland Clinic, it results from swelling or damage to the facial nerve, which can occur from an infection, trauma, or stroke.
