Lollapalooza Berlin head Fruzsina Szép talked about the work required to bring forth a festival like Lollapalooza to fruition back in 2016 in an exclusive interview with Allmax DE on September 5, 2016, stating:

"After the festival is before the festival. We have been working on a festival for twelve months and are already working on the line-up for 2017. Especially the four weeks before the festival starts are hardcore techno, stress to the power of 3. The adrenaline runs out of our ears."

Fruzsina Szép continued:

"You can't really put that into words. I work around 14 and 16 hours a day. 300 to 500 e-mails come in, you're constantly in meetings, you're on the phone, you're on site setting up. If you want to work in this industry, you really need hard nerves, you have to keep calm, you have to be able to react quickly, you don't freak out or freak out."

Lollapalooza Berlin has previously seen performances by artists such as One Republic, Natalie Jane, Twenty One Pilots, Kings of Leon, Swedish House Mafia, and many more.
