BTS continues to make history as the only non-English act to top the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) Artist Chart. This is an achievement that has drawn significant attention from their fans worldwide.

According to the recent list released by IFPI on February 18, three K-pop groups made it to the list - Seventeen, Stray Kids, and Enhypen but BTS is the only K-pop group to make it to No.1, as reported by several outlets.

They entered the IFPI Global Artist Chart for the first time in 2018 when they were ranked #2 spot, according to the official website. Later, in 2020, they topped the chart for the first time, making them the first Korean act to win the accolade, as well as the first artist to perform primarily in a language other than English.

In 2021, they again earned the #1 spot with the release of their album Butter, which was released in May of that year. Reportedly, they charted at number #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart for seven consecutive weeks. In 2022, they were at the No. 2 spot, which marked their fifth appearance in the top 10 artists in the IFPI Artist Chart since 2018.

Many BTS fans are celebrating their historic victory, which underscores their global influence in the music industry.
