2025 is clearly Kendrick Lamar's year as the rapper racks up awards, collects achievements, and breaks records. Lamar's Luther, featuring Sza, added a couple of achievements to the rapper's already long list.

The third single from the rapper's sixth studio album, GNX, has peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Lamar's sixth number one on the list and Sza's third.

Notably, Kendrick Lamar has achieved his four latest number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 within the space of 11 months. This is the fastest accumulation since BTS achieved this feat within the space of 10 months and a week with Life Goes On, Butter, Permission to Dance, and My Universe, and the fastest accumulation by a solo artist since Michael Jackson attained five number one hits on the Hot 100 chart within 9 months and 2 weeks.

@chartdata on X shared this news with the caption:

"Kendrick Lamar achieves the fastest accumulation of four #1 hits on the Hot 100 among all artists since BTS in 2020-2021."

Numerous reactions trailed the post, as netizens took to the comments section to praise the rapper.

"He's absolutely popping off, love Kendrick," @AlexStar_Rap commented.
"The man is shinning...it’s his time," @Dr_HumaSuleman praised.
"Two LEGENDS Congratulations Kendrick, we love you," @Tchaikovsky218 replied.

XXL Magazine also shared the news on X via their official account @XXL with the caption:

"Kendrick becomes the first rapper ever to earn four No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 within a 12-month span."

This post gathered mixed reactions. While fans sincerely congratulated the rapper, others didn't appreciate the news.

"The music isn't as remotely good as what he has released in the past. The music is garbage compared to anything on TPAB or even DAMN. Universal is earning their keep. Showing Kendrick it was worth signing his life away in December. He warned of "Luci" in TPAB. Hasn't listened," @Hou_TDs_Dingers commented.
"This Kendrick glazing is getting out of hand," @kussman214 stated.
"So it's a coincidence that this wasn't attainable in a 15 year career span until he dissed for 9 months? Yea aight. Cubic zirconia." @JacksonLaRon replied.

Others replied that Drake already achieved this feat in 2018.

"Drake technically already did this in 2018, but wasn't credited for Sicko Mode." @IJV23IYKYK stated.
"Not the first rapper Drake did this in 2018," @Daaariaaannn added.
"Are publications just straight up lying now? First rapper to do this? Lol that was Drake… wow am shocked and people will actually believe this lie," @SagalAbdi84 tweeted.
