TV personality and music manager Sharon Osbourne has revealed her biggest mistake as Ozzy's manager.

The 72-year-old media personality started managing her husband, Ozzy Osbourne after he departed from the rock band, Black Sabbath. She is credited with reviving Ozzy's career by starting the summer Ozzfest tour, which lasted from 1996 to 2018. Sharon Osbourne has been one of the major driving forces behind her husband's success and elevated him from a heavy metal icon to a mainstream celebrity.

However, Sharon recently appeared on the Billy Corgan podcast and revealed how she stopped her husband from auditioning for a role in the Disney franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. She calls it the 'biggest mistake' she made as Ozzy's manager, something she regrets even now.

Billy and Sharon also dive deep into the early days of Black Sabbath: from Ozzy's first London gigs and sweaty club shows to the challenges and triumphs that reshaped heavy metal forever."

It continues:

"From the business battles that tested Sharon's mettle to the behind-the-scenes stories of how she helped Ozzy break away from an impossible contract to forge one of the most successful solo careers in rock, they cover near-disasters and triumphant comebacks, all fueled by Sharon's fearless determination and her unwavering belief in the power of music."

During the podcast, Sharon Osbourne talks about her life growing up, how she met her husband, and her work in show business. When praised for her entrepreneurial prowess, she reveals her biggest mistake in managing her husband.

"Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?" she asked the 57-year-old podcast host.
"You're gonna admit to a mistake?" Corgan responded, to which Sharon replied laughing, "Yeah, I have several, Billy. We be here all night."
Sharon continued, "He got offered to go and read for Pirates of the Caribbean, and I've never said this to anyone."
"And you said no?" the Smashing Pumpkins frontman asked.
"I said no... Now, wouldn't he have been perfect?" Sharon mused, and Corgan agreed with her.
"He would have been perfect! Maybe it's not too late, but God bless."

Despite not starring in the Disney franchise, Ozzy Osbourne appeared in Austin Powers in Goldmember, Little Nicky, and one episode of Crime Scene: Investigation.
