Gene Simmons has canceled most of his 2025 tour dates and postponed them to 2026. The singer was originally set to tour across North America in April and May, but the April dates for 2025 have now been shifted to 2026. Similarly, about half of the original May 2025 dates, specifically the ones in Texas, have also been postponed to 2026.

The tour postponement was announced by Christina Vitagliano, the singer's employee and manager of his tour VIP experiences. The announcement came via Rock N Roll Experience's Facebook post on March 21, 2025:

"The GS April dates and Texas May dates are being postponed until early 2026. YES, the rest of the May dates are still happening. If you've bought tickets, you will get a refund from wherever you purchased tickets. If you bought a bass experience, email me, and I will refund your experience unless you want to move to another date. Super simple. "

No further details have been provided as to the reason for the canceling of the 2025 tour dates and their postponement to 2026. The tour was the singer's first major tour of 2025.

Gene Simmons is touring with his solo band, with Brent Woods as well as Zach Throne and Brian Tichy. The singer has been touring solo ever since his band, KISS, retired from touring back in 2023:

Simmons talked about the retirement of the band in an interview with The Sunday Project on June 4, 2023, stating:

"At a certain point Mother Nature takes over no matter what your plans are. And at a certain time, you've gotta have the dignity and pride but also the love and admiration of your fans to know when it's time to call it quits. We've all seen boxers that stay in the ring too long and we've all seen bands that stay on the stage too long."

The singer continued:

"So I'm still looking pretty damn good but that's not the point. The point is the physical nature of what we do is going to limit how long we can do it..."

Gene Simmons, aside from his work with KISS, has also released two solo studio albums so far, the self-titled Gene Simmons album all the way back in 1974 and Ass**le in 2004.
