G-Dragon has officially announced the dates for his Asia leg of the highly anticipated 2025 Übermensch world tour.
The K-pop singer, whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, took to his Instagram handle on March 19, 2025, to share the news with his fans. According to the post, the tour is dubbed Phase 1.
It will kick off in Tokyo on May 10, 2025, and will be for two days, ending on May 11, 2025, where it will be held at Tokyo Dome. The next locations are the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on May 17, 2025; Kyocera Dome in Osaka on May 25 and May 26, 2025; and Galaxy Arena in Macau on June 7 and June 8, 2025.
The tour will then reach its next stop, which is Taipei Arena in Taipei on July 12 and 13, 2025; Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur on July 19 and 20, 2025; and Indonesia Area in Jakarta on July 26, 2025, and will conclude in Asiaworld Arena in Hong Kong on August 9 and 10, 2025.
Übermensch is the third studio album of the South Korean pop star. It was released on February 25, 2025, and includes a total of 8 tracks, as per a report in Lifestyle Asia. The album will feature singles like ‘Power’ and ‘Home Sweet Home,' plus vocals from his Big Bang bandmates—Taeyang and Daesung.
All about G-Dragon’s new album, Übermensch
G-Dragon explained the meaning behind the title of his latest album, Übermensch. According to a press release revealed on February 10, 2025, G-Dragon said,
"Übermensch means ‘Beyond-Man,’ representing an individual who transcends themselves. This album embodies the idea of presenting a stronger and more resilient version of oneself to the public. I hope this strength resonates with my fans through my music.”
There are four different versions of the album—white, pink, blue, and red. The album is priced at USD 14.99. A report in Billboard indicated that Übermensch is a follow-up to his 2013 album, Coup D’Etat, that featured collabs with Missy Elliott, Sky Ferreira, BLACKPINK’S JENNIE, Diplo, Baauer, and Boys Noize, among other artists.
He officially released the latest album on February 25, 2025. On the same day he released two music videos for the tracks Drama and Too Bad.
According to a report in Korea JoongAng Daily, he made a comeback in 2024 with the release of his single, Power, in October 2024, after a seven-year hiatus from his solo projects. His last tour was World Tour Act III: M.O.T.T.E.," which took place in 2017. The show recorded 654,000 attendees across 36 shows, as per the outlet.
He will reportedly headline the Head in the Clouds festival in Los Angeles on May 31 and June 1. The singer-songwriter currently hosts a reality show, Good Day, which premiered on February 16 on Disney+.

Fans are excited to see the 'King of K-Pop' on stage again and are looking forward to the 2025 Übermensch world tour covering eight major cities from May 2025 till August 2025.
