APT is the lead single from BLACKPINK Rosé’s debut solo album Rosie. The uptempo pop track sampled Toni Brasil’s 1982 track Mickey. The song takes inspiration from the South Korean drinking game that features its participants chanting “Chateau” out loud. In the song, the artists also express their feelings for their love interests.

Some of the song’s lyrics read:

"Don't you want me like I want you, baby?/ Don't you need me like I need you now?/ Sleep tomorrow, but tonight, go crazy/ All you gotta do is just meet me at the/ Apateu, apateu/ Apateu, apateu/ Apateu, apateu/ Uh, uh-huh, uh-huh/ Apateu, apateu/ Apateu, apateu/ Apateu, Apateu, uh-huh, uh-huh,"

APT was a commercial success upon its release, spending 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200. It became the longest-running number-one song on the chart.

It also became the first Western-influenced song to top the Japanese Hot 100 in years and the first song by a K-pop female act to reach the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles charts.

BLACKPINK's Rosé will join her group members for their world tour beginning in July 2025.
