Faraquet is an American post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., United States. The band consists of three members: Jeff Boswell, Devin Ocampo, and Chad Molter, who were childhood friends. The trio debuted in 1997 and stayed together for four years before disbanding in 2001.
During their time together, Faraquet released a few singles, an EP titled Split Em with Akarso, and an album titled The View From This Tower.
Recently, the group announced that all three members will be reuniting for a show in 2025. The band will be hitting three stops on July 25, 26, and 27, 2025.
More details on Faraquet’s upcoming shows
The three-member post-hardcore band had a brief reunion in the summer of 2007. They reissued the songs they had recorded for different singles and split releases as a compilation album titled Anthology 1997-98, which was released in July 2008.
Following the release, Faraquet's interest in playing music was rekindled, and they went on a short tour in Brazil and a show in Washington, D.C., before they split again.
Now, seventeen years after their last reunion, the trio will be hitting the stage again. The group will be making three East Coast stops together with indie rock band Savak. They will stop at Black Cat in Washington, D.C., for their July 25 show, PhilaMOCA in Philadelphia on July 26, and TV Eye in New York on July 27.

After the group split, Devin Ocampo (guitar) and Chad Molter (drums/percussion) formed the group Medications, which released a few records before going on a hiatus in 2011.
