The photo shows a man and a woman's backs facing the camera. While fans were sure that the man was Adam Levine, fans were confused if it was Lisa. The speculations were fueled when Lisa posted an Instagram story with a snippet of a song playing in the background.

While BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Maroon 5 haven't confirmed the collaboration, fans hoped it to be true. X user World Music Awards shared Lisa's story in a post and noted that she looked "gorgeous."

It is only with time, it will be revealed who the mystery person is. The rumours come after Adam Levine confirmed on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon that they will be releasing a new "album." He told Jimmy,

“But the details are basically, roughly, there’s a single coming at the end of the month-ish. I’m really excited about it. An album is coming over the summer. Non-specifically around the summertime. And then, even more non-specifically, there is a tour coming in the fall-ish.”

While the singer didn't reveal a collaboration with BLACKPINK’s Lisa, a new track was confirmed by him. Fan theories revealed that the timeline aligns with Maroon 5 and Lisa's social media posts.
