Addison Rae is in her pop girl era.

The singer has come a long way from her TikTok days and is set to launch her self-titled album, Addison. She dropped the cover of her new album on Instagram (@addisonrae), which will be released on June 6. She captioned the photo as,

"I love the entirety of this project with all of me. A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet. My dream cover. My dream collaborators. Pre-save now to prepare a sweet home for her. "

Pop Base shared the news on X. Fans took to the comment section and expressed excitement for the new album.

One user (@alexisauclairr) noted,

"Cover is meh but regardless shes coming to save pop music and i love her for that."

While some users were critical of the cover, many described it as reminiscent of early 2000s music albums. One user (@bottomjail) wrote,

"It’s giving early 2000s, we will be streaming."

One user (@barfxm29l92149) defended her cover and noted,

"I love this cover but everyone is going to hate on her. This is why we don't have many new icons or artists, people are scared to release music because of how they get clowned on by the twitter losers who do nothing with themselves. I like seeing someone putting in some work."

Another fan (@kingmongar) chimed in and expressed excitement for the album. They wrote,

"The cover gives major 2000s pop vibes—love the retro aesthetic! Can’t wait for Addison to drop on June 6th."
