Rapper Travis Scott announced his new album JACKBOYS 2 in a new video shared on X by @Kurrco on March 24, 2025. Scott appears to be in a club when he confirms the album and says,

"JACKBOYS 2 ON THE WAY"

Travis Scott added to the excitement,

"What the f**k is we doing?"

The singer announced after a teaser was released for the same. In a video shared by an Instagram user (@NFRpodcast), the sequel's title was projected onto a building in bright and flashy lights. The album comes after its predecessor, JACKBOYS, a collective album featuring Scott, Shek Wes, Don Toliver, SoFaygo, and DJ Chase B.

Fans expressed excitement and took to @Kurrco's post on X. A user (@tyxhndrxx) added a fire emoji to express his excitement and noted,

"WE READY!"

Another user (@lxlvsh0t) noted that 2025 is the year of multiple comebacks and wrote,

"2025 music run WILL be in the history books!"

Some users also looked forward to other artists featuring on the collective once again. One (@destroynectar) noted,

Travis Scott confirms new album JACKBOYS 2 is in the making

Scott's announcement of a sequel album comes five years after JACKBOYS was released in 2019. The singer had previously teased his fans with the new album after his performance at the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash in 2024. He expressed gratitude towards the album's contributors and noted,

“I’m nothing without Sheck Wes, I’m nothing without Don Toliver, I’m nothing without SoFaygo,” he stated. “I’m nothing without Chase B, I’m nothing without my gang members. [We’ve] been thinking about doing a JACKBOYS 2.”

In another interview with Cultured Magazine in 2024, the rapper noted that he was "in album mode." More recently, Travis Scott hinted at what the new album may entail during his interview with Numero Homme. While the full interview isn't out yet, the XXL magazine was able to get a few glimpses of Scott describing the new album. He noted,

"My new project is as crazy as it gets but for the moment, I still have to keep it a secret."

While Travis Scott kept the information under wraps, fans expressed their excitement at the sequel. The JACKBOYS debuted at No.1 on Billboard's Hot 100 charts in 2020, and fans are expecting its sequel to live up to its predecessor.
