The teaser shared by the music veteran on February 16, 2025, didn’t reveal the exact date for the release of the 1994 album, but fans can expect it to launch this year. The singer has been in the studio since late last year, when she revealed via an Instagram post on December 16, 2024, that she was working on new music with popular DJ, producer, and songwriter Stuart Price.

She captioned a video of herself with Price in the studio:

"Working on new music with Stuart Price. These past few months have been medicine for my SOUL. Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission. I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025!”

On February 13, 2025, the singer updated fans via Instagram that she was putting her heart into new music for her fans and shared more clips of herself in the studio.

Bedtime Stories is a cross-genre album that incorporates pop and R&B. Released in 1994, the album featured inputs from Babyface, Dave Hall, and Dallas Austin. The album explores love and romance and is described by critics as the body of work that started the second phase of Madonna’s career.

Bedtime Stories was nominated in the Best Album Category at the 58th Grammy Awards and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 upon its release.
