The rumors of the 2026 tour came after a US charity announcement post went viral for promising two tickets to a Taylor Swift show for their annual charity auction prizes. The Galt House is set to host their annual 12th Unbridled Eve Derby Gala, and in their press release, available from the Unbridled website, there is a mention of a Taylor Swift package, although it has now been changed from the 2026 tour to merely the singer's next tour:
"Taylor Swift Package: Signed guitar by Taylor Swift and two tickets for a concert during her next tour."
Taylor Swift has not responded to the gala's offering of tickets or the fan response to it. The gala clarified their declaration in another press statement in response to fan excitement over a possible 2026 tour by Swift, with Tammy York Day, the co-founder of the auction, stating:
"In the most recent Unbridled Eve press release, it inadvertently listed one of our auction items as a 'Signed guitar by Taylor Swift and two concert tickets during her upcoming 2026 tour."
The co-founder continued:
"Our deepest apologies for getting the Swiftie Nation excited, but it should have said 'Guitar signed by Taylor Swift and two tickets for a concert during her next tour.' We have no knowledge whatsoever of when that tour will be."
Taylor Swift wrapped up her last tour back in 2024
Back in 2024, the singer wrapped up her Eras Tour, which is the highest-grossing tour of all time. The tour began in 2023 and continued till December 2024, ending with a show at the BC Palace in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The singer spoke about the ending of the tour, stating to her fans during her Liverpool concert, the 100th of the Eras tour -
