Sabrina Carpenter surprised her fans with a new music video for the song Please Please Please featuring Dolly Parton on February 14. Along with the video, the Grammy winner also uploaded lyric videos of new songs from the Short n' Sweet deluxe album, which included 15 Minutes, Couldn't Make It Any Harder, Busy Woman, and Bad Reviews on YouTube.

The Please Please Please music video followed a black-and-white theme, showing Sabrina and Dolly singing while driving in a car. Towards the end, the video takes a turn, showing the police chasing their car and a body in the car's trunk.

After the video was uploaded, soon fans started speculating the body may resemble Barry Keoghan, Sabrina Carpenter's ex-boyfriend, due to certain visual clues that were given in the previous Please Please Please music video.

Barry Keoghan’s possible link to Sabrina Carpenter’s new "Please Please Please" music video

The first official music video of Please Please Please was uploaded on June 7 on Sabrina Carpenter's official YouTube channel. It is the continuation of the Espresso music video where she was caught by the police.

The Please Please Please music video featured Sabina Carpenter and her ex-boyfriend Barry Keoghan, who also played the role of a convict. The video had certain scenes of Barry looting the bank and fighting with people.

The video ends with Sabrina handcuffing Barry Keoghan, who was seen in black pants and a white tank top.

However, in the new Please Please Please music video featuring Dolly Parton, Sabrina shows the similarly dressed man's body in the trunk of her car with his face covered in a jute fabric bag.

The singer also changed the lyrics of one line to "I beg you, don't embarrass me, like the others."

The similar outfit in the video suggests that Sabrina might be hinting at her ex-boyfriend, Barry Keoghan. Sabrina and Barry never publicly talked about their breakup, but after breakup rumors in December 2024, Barry deactivated his Instagram account, which led to more speculations.

She also released the video on Valentine's Day, a day about love, which fans related to the themes of betrayal because of the video's ending. However, Sabrina hasn't given any statement on the same, leaving fans guessing.

Similarities in Taste, Feather, and Please Please Please music videos

The Espresso singer has shown a similar theme in one of her music videos, 'Feather' from the 'Emails I Can't Send' album, suspected to be written about the Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina, and Joshua Bassett love triangle.

However, Sabrina was recently seen at the Grammy Awards hugging Olivia Rodrigo, which brought the suspected beef to an end.

Another music video by Sabrina Carpenter, 'Taste' featuring Jenna Ortega, also follows the same theme, where the male character faces dramatic outcomes and ultimately death after betraying and mistreating her.

The new Please Please Please music video highlights her dramatic storytelling style.

Sabrina Carpenter received six nominations at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. She also won Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n' Sweet and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Espresso."
