An alleged Instagram chat between Kanye West and Playboi Carti has been circulating all over the internet. In the chat, Kanye West questions Playboi Carti on why the rapper didn't invite him to the Rolling Loud stage.

"How you goin bring that many people on stage but not me? Had a whole damn chessboard with all of those pawns. You even had Nav up there."

Playboi Carti responds. He says:

"Im sorry Ye... Imma make it up to u."

This viral conversation has sparked many reactions as netizens question the possibility of such a conversation.

Kanye West finally debunks the rumor when he replies to @lottareds on X, who shared a screenshot of the alleged Instagram chat between Ye and Carti.

"This is not real," Kanye West tweeted.

Kanye West and Playboi Carti teamed up in September 2022 to perform Off The Grid at the New York Rolling Loud stage. But this time, Playboi Carti chose a new set of artists to mount the stage with him for his headlining performance at the Los Angeles Rolling Loud stage.

The rapper, whose freshly released album, I Am Music, broke Spotify streaming records over the weekend, brought out several artists, including The Weeknd, Skepta, and popular streamer Kai Cenat, for his headlining performance to close the Rolling Loud California 2025 festival.

Carti and The Weeknd performed the song Rather Lie, from the I Am Music album and an earlier collaboration, Timeless. British rapper Skepta also joined Playboi Carti on stage to perform their new song, Toxic, from the new album.

Other artists who performed at the Rolling Loud California 2025 festival included Ken Carson, who performed an unreleased song, "Ain't Playing." Soulja Boy gave an exciting performance of some throwback hits, including "Pretty Boy Swag" and "Kiss Me Through The Phone," and closed with fans' favorite, "Crank That Soulja Boy."

In related news, A$AP Rocky made his debut performance since his acquittal of two firearm assault charges. He headlined Saturday's Rolling Loud California 2025 festival set and gave an electrifying performance to a crowd including Rihanna and Blue Ivy.

A$AP Rocky shocked the audience when he performed not on the stage but in a helicopter flying over the audience. After performing his new song, All Black (Stole Your Flow), the rapper debuted an unreleased song before climbing down the helicopter onto the stage below.
