Descendents are bringing Buzzcocks for the 2025 Canadian tour

The rock band has been around since the 1970s with no signs of slowing down. The band, which includes Milo Aukerman (vocals), Karl Alvarez (bass), Bill Stevenson (drums), and Stephen Egerton (guitar) are returning to Canada for their summer tour. The band will be joined by Buzzcocks, an English punk act.
Buzzcocks have previously joined the California-origin band several times, the most recent and notable being their joint US tour in 2024. Indie artist, Mattstagraham, will be supporting the act.
As per schedule, the performances will traverse 12 cities and move from the East Coast to the tour finale in Vancouver. Fans can visit the official website for ticket information and performances. Here is the schedule at the time of publishing:
While the rock band has been regularly on tour, it is unclear if a new album is in the making. Their last album, 9th & Walnut, featuring 18 tracks was released in 2021. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2021, lead vocalist Milo Aukerman had talked about the pandemic-born 9th & Walnut, and had noted that making the album was akin to going down the "memory lane."
The rock band is also scheduled to perform at the Punk In The Park three-day music festival. The festival will take place in Denver on July 19 and in Oregon on June 28.
