Selena Gomez ‘accidentally’ sold her original “B” ring, which is the exact ring she shared on her Instagram when she made her relationship with Benny Blanco public in December 2023.
Elle magazine reported that the ring, which was a custom Jacquie Aiche piece worth $3,250, was sold for $12 as part of the 32-year-old singer’s ongoing 12 Days of Really Rare Stuff giveaway.
On March 9, 2025, Gomez shared on her Instagram and announced to her fans that to celebrate the upcoming release of her album, I Said I Love You First on March 21, 2025, she and Blanco decided to share some “rare memories” with their followers.
“I can’t believe we’re just 12 days away from the album!#12DaysofReallyRareStuff”
She wrote.
TMZ confirmed that she actually did sell her ring to one of the fans. She told the outlet that a glitch on her website allowed more than one person to purchase the ring. Those who accidentally purchased were reportedly refunded.
Fans were confused and shocked to learn about the ring and took to the internet to explain their opinions on the idea behind it. A fan questioned the authenticity of the items and wrote,
“Cursed items ?!” via @AlphaRcstr on X.
