Car Seat Headrest 2025 US Tour is set to be held from May 16, 2025 to November 1, 2025 in venues across the mainland United States. The tour will be in support of the band's upcoming studio album, which will be released on May 2, 2025 via Matador Records.

Tickets for the festival and event appearances by the band included in the tour, such as Kilby Block Party and Governor's Ball are available from the respective event's website.

Instructions for getting presale and general tickets for other shows are given in the following paragraphs. A presale for the tour starts on March 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time. To access the presale, DM the official Car Seat Headrest Instagram page with the word "tix" as per the instruction posted via the band's Instagram story.

A general on-sale will follow on March 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time. To get access to the general sale, go to the band's website once the tickets go live, go to the tour dates page, then scroll down to choose the show of their prefered show.

Then click on the 'tickets' option to be redirected to the ticket portal. Once at the ticket portal, Ticketmaster, click on 'Find Tickets', to be directed to the venue page, where one can choose their preferred spot on the venue seating/standing space, then provide personal information as required, and then make payment to complete purchases.

The band announced the new tour via a post on their official Instagram page on March 4, 2025, with the following statement:

"We’re also announcing some more live dates in support of the new album. As my health is an ongoing process of rebuilding and recovery, we have planned our touring schedule conservatively this year, in order to ensure that we can reliably travel and perform in everything we commit to. Therefore, outside of a small number of festivals -"

The statement continues:

"-which have not announced lineups yet, the shows you see here will be what you get this year. If you are anywhere near these cities but are waiting to see if we announce a closer show - we probably won’t. Sorry about that, and with good fortune, we will be able to continue to expand our routes in years to come."

Car Seat Headrest's upcoming album will be their first new record release since 2020's Making a Door Less Open. The new album is their 13th studio album and their fifth as a band. Car Seat Headrest was started by Will Toledo as a solo project in 2010 and it remained a solo project till 2015.
