Avatar 2026 Europe and U.K. tour: Dates, venues, & all you need to know

Swedish metal band Avatar is gearing up to start 2026 with their newly announced European and U.K. tour, A Night To Be Torn Apart. The trek is officially set to kick off in February 2026.

The run has 29 dates on the schedule, including stops in London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Paris, among others. The announcement comes at a relatively busy time for Avatar.

Before launching their headline tour, the band will first join heavy metal icon Iron Maiden this summer for the European leg of the Run For Your Lives World Tour. They will also drop their brand-new live production with a Halloween show, Noche De Brujas, in Mexico City. All of this is expected to set the stage for their own 2026 world tour.

Avatar took to their official Instagram handle to announce the 2026 trek, captioning:

"Have you seen us before? No, you have not. Not really. You saw the practice run. The prototype. The embryo. Since then, we’ve grown... and plotted. If you really want to see Avatar, now is the time to do it. Tickets & Secret Gathering Upgrades (for the first time in Europe) are on sale NOW."

Avatar was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2001. They have explored varied genres, such as melodic death metal groove and alternative metal. The act is fronted by Johannes Eckerström, alongside bandmates John Alfredsson, Jonas Jarlsby, Henrik Sandelin, and Tim Öhrström.

Their most recent studio album is Dance Devil Dance (2023).

The A Night To Be Torn Apart tour will kick off on February 5, 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden, at Fallan. From there, Avatar will travel through Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the U.K., Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Austria, Poland, and the Czech Republic, before wrapping up in Hamburg, Germany, on March 13, 2026.

Highlights of the U.K. leg include a Valentine's Day show at The Exhibition in London, a newly opened venue in White City. Other British 2026 trek dates include Manchester Academy (Feb 15), Glasgow Barrowland (Feb 16), Nottingham Rock City (Feb 17), and Bristol O2 Academy (Feb 18).
