He captioned that post saying, ''🔥 respect and love.'' While Kanye didn't give any context for this picture, it looks like it was an admiration post for Gunna and Tyla. However, when Kanye dropped this post on X, netizens had different things to say; one of them questioned if the two were together.

The Drip or Drown 2 and Lemonade singer, Gunna, and Tyla collaborated on Tyla's self-titled debut album called Jump, which was released back in May 2024. Alongside Gunna and Tyla, the song was also sung by the Jamaican DJ and rapper Skillibeng.

Jump charted at number 18 in South Africa and became a top-40 entry on the UK Singles Chart. The music video for Jump was released on 14 May 2024. It features Tyla and Gunna and was directed by the film and music director, Nabil.

Tyla rose to fame with her 2023 single Water. It received so much love and appreciation that it became the first song to enter the US Billboard Hot 100 in 55 years by a South African soloist. Not only that, the song also won the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance.
