The album also marks Jennie's first solo studio album, under the label Odd Atelier, founded by Jennie in 2023 and Columbia Records. The album's name is inspired by Jennie's English name, Jennie Ruby Jane. In the trailer of her album, uploaded on Jennie’s official YouTube channel, she is seen with long red hair. The album includes verses from six other artists, which are Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, F.K.J., and Kali Uchis, who will be featured in different songs.

Three songs from the album, Zen, Love Hangover featuring Dominic Fike, and Mantra, have already been released.

Recently, Jennie uploaded the official music video for Love Hangover along with behind-the-scenes footage. Both are now available on YouTube.
