The ACM Awards is scheduled for May 8, 2025, to spotlight the best in country music. The ceremony will take place at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas and will be hosted by 16-time ACM winner Reba McEntire. Online fans can watch their favorite country singers on Prime Video and Amazon Music's Live Twitch channels at 8 p.m. EDT.

The ACM Awards ceremony will mark the 60th anniversary of "defining moments." The show will have a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes, unlike previous years. From first-time nominees including Dasha and Shaboozey to previous ACM winners like Cody Johnson, the lineup features a blend of old and new-age country music. Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, and Eric Church are confirmed to perform live, while other names are yet to be revealed.

The ACM Awards has been renewed for its 60th iteration and is likely to be a grand celebration of the "trailblazers" and the "groundbreakers."

Ella Langley is nominated for 8 awards, leading the list of nominees. Damon Whiteside, CEO of ACM, noted that her nomination is a "full circle moment" and emphasized that they "pride" themselves on supporting new talent.

Following Langley are country singers Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson, and Lainey Wilson, who have each received 7 nominations across categories, per Billboard. Chris Stapleton has bagged 6 nominations, with Riley Green and Post Malone following with 5 each. Notable nominations include:

While some netizens expressed disappointment over not seeing Beyonce's nomination, Whiteside clarified that she has an "open invitation." He noted:

“We love that Beyoncé is in the country genre. That’s fantastic for all the country artists out there."

He explained the voters' preference and added,

“I think, more likely, they’re going to be voting for artists that they’ve got relationships with and work with on a regular basis and that are in the country music business 365."

The ACM Awards is one of the longest-running awards functions exclusively for country music. For its 60th anniversary, the organizers have many things lined up and hope to celebrate both old and new-age country music. More details about the show are likely to be revealed as the date nears.
