Linkin Park has been a big name in the rock genre since the '90s. Formerly known as Xero and Hybrid Theory, the band was first formed in 1996 by Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon, and Brad Delson. Later, the band added Dave Farrell, Mark Wakefield, and Joe Hahn. However, Wakefield decided to leave the band in 1999 and was later replaced by Chester Bennington.

Linkin Park and Jay-Z collaborated on an EP called Collision Course in 2004. The EP consisted of six songs, including Numb/Encore and Izzo/In The End. The album featured mashups of two or three songs with Jay-Z's beats and vocals in between. Numb/Encore also won a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2006.

In 2013, Linkin Park released the Vice Remix version of their song I'll Be Gone, featuring Pusha-T. The song has over 1.6 million views on YouTube. Later, the band also collaborated with the rapper on Good Goodbye from the One More Light album, which became a hit. The song also featured Stormzy alongside the rapper.


Kiiara (Heavy)

Heavy was the first music video the band released from the album One More Light in 2017. The song features Kiiara, an American singer-songwriter. With over 208 million views on its music video on YouTube, it soon became a beloved song among Linkin Park fans. The album also won the iHeartRadio Award for Rock Album of the Year in 2018.

A Light That Never Comes, featuring Steve Aoki, is from Linkin Park's 2013 album Recharged. The song also made its mark on the charts, reaching No. 8 on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and No. 7 on the US Alternative Airplay chart in 2013. Additionally, it remained on the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart at No. 61 in 2014.


Rakim (Guilty All The Same)

Guilty All The Same is a song from Linkin Park's 2014 album The Hunting Party, featuring Rakim. The song also performed well on the Billboard charts, reaching No. 17 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 and No. 19 on US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs. Later, the band also released its music video, which has over 24 million views as of 2025.
