Perry Miller, famously known as Jesse Colin Young, died at the age of 83. The American singer and songwriter was the founder and lead singer of the famous music band The Youngbloods, formed in 1965. The band released Get Together in 1969, which was soon ranked No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
However, Young left the band in 1972 and followed his solo career in the music industry. Three years after the split, Jesse released a new album, Songbird, in 1975, which reached No. 26 on the Billboard 200 music chart.

The song is a part of his 1973 album, Song for Juli, which comes from his daughter's name, Julia. The song went viral in 2023 after Jesse used it in his post, with users creating over 100 Instagram reels featuring it.
Four In The Morning

Four In The Morning was released in 1964 on the album The Soul Of A City Boy. Young also uploaded the live version of it on YouTube in 2011 and played it live at Amentum Center for the Performing Arts in Aiken, South Carolina, in 2020.
Song For Juli
The Song For Juli is the theme song of Jesse's album, Song For Juli. The album was inspired by Jesse Colin Young’s daughter, Julia. While the song didn’t chart on its own, the album ranked #51 on the Billboard 200 and remained on the Billboard charts for over a year, making it one of the most successful albums of Jesse.
Songbird

Released in 1975 as the theme song of the album Songbird, the song has over 450,000 streams on Spotify. While the song didn't chart separately, the Songbird album reached #26 on the Billboard 200, making it his highest-charting solo record of Jesse Colin Young.
The other members of The Youngbloods included Jerry Corbitt, Lowell Levinger, and Joe Bauer. Additionally, Michael Kane and David Perper joined the band in their later years, replacing original members before The Youngbloods disbanded in 1972.
