As per their official website, Wingstop Boneless Wings has 166 calories as of 2025 per piece of wing.

Founded in 1994 by Antonio Swad and Bernadette Fiaschetti, Wingstop started out small but quickly broke into the franchising system. That changed the company completely as after the first franchised outlet opened in 1997, the company boomed in revenue and growth. So much so, that by 2002, Wingstop was claiming to have sold over two million wings. They soon went international and by the 2010s, the company had outlets in Mexico, Canada, and across Europe amongst other countries.

About Wingstop

Founded in 1994 by Antonio Swad and Bernadette Fiaschetti, Wingstop began as a small outlet in Texas and quickly found its groove. That was thanks to the franchising system as the company immediately offered franchising and the first franchised location opened in 1997. By 2002, the brand had restaurants across America and also claimed to have served over two million wings. That led to more growth and in 2005, they started serving lunch in order to increase their customer base.

Not only that, in 2009, Wingstop added boneless wings to the menu, and by 2010, the company had its first international location in Mexico. That boosted their growth even further as between 2014 and 2016, the company was the third fastest-growing restaurant in the US. That led to them going public in 2015 and that year, their profits doubled as per reports.

Things did become tough for the company during the COVID-19 pandemic but Wingstop responded by introducing a digital-only restaurant called ThighStop. While they cited cost-cutting methods, the restaurant did well and continues to do well as of 2025.
