Singer Sabrina Carpenter’s special Christmas cookie recipe has gone viral once again after it was released last year during this time. The cookies are not too different from the regular chocolate chip cookies or M&M cookies, but they are indeed delicious. So, if you are looking for a cookie recipe for the holidays, this is a must-try.

First, one cup of melted butter and 1 ½ cups of brown sugar must be mixed, preferably with a hand mixer. After the mix reaches a smooth consistency, one needs to add two eggs. However, they must ensure that the eggs are added one at a time.

We need to mix the dry ingredients by sifting the flour and baking soda with some salt in another bowl. This mixture is then added to the butter mix, after which it must be blended perfectly. Once this is done, you have to add chocolate chips and red and green M&Ms. You can add as many as you want depending on taste. The cookie batter needs to be refrigerated for 30 minutes.

However, if you want the cookies to be Grinch-themed, you can add some green food coloring. Bakers should ensure that during the process, one must preheat the oven. Now, one needs to scoop dough and then roll it into balls. Then, you have to place them on the parchment paper and bake the batch at 350℉ for ten minutes.

Keep an eye on the batch to check whether the cookie edges have become brown or not. After taking it out of the oven, the cookies must cool for three minutes before you munch on them.

Sabrina Carpenter released a new holiday special A Nonsense Christmas on Netflix

According to The Guardian, in A Nonsense Christmas, Sabrina Carpenter delivers a lively mix of Saturday Night Live-style comedy sketches and duets with trending pop stars. While the show reflects strong teamwork, behind-the-scenes moments hint at the singer’s active creative input. As per a review by the new outlet’s Rebecca Nicholson,

“The tone is knowing and dry. The show is introduced with a narrative eye-roll that is maintained throughout, a tactic that pre-empts criticism. Everyone does a musical-comedy holiday special, she says. Everyone has celebrity guests. So she is doing it, too.”

In a recent interview with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Sabrina Carpenter was asked about her experience of working with Sean Astin for the Netflix special. She said,

“It was such a gift, he, I mean unfortunately I met him already dressed as Santa. I mean I never saw his original form.”

A Nonsense Christmas is an hourlong special filmed in just two days before a live audience. According to Harper's Bazaar, it brings a lively, chaotic energy. Filled with tinsel, trees, and espresso martinis, it features glamorous performance segments starring Sabrina Carpenter alongside a few of her famous friends.

The singer has earned quite a bit of glory this year with Espresso being one of 2024’s biggest songs. Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth studio album, Short ’n Sweet, was well received by her fans.
