The Taco Bell 'Decades Menu' is a special, limited-edition nostalgic lineup, that features the most loved and iconic food items from the brand's first five decades. It is like a walk down memory lane for all Taco Bell fans.
The Taco Bell 'Decades Menu' showcases five beloved items, each reflecting a unique chapter in Taco Bell's history. The items will include the ‘60s Tostada, ‘70s Green Sauce Burrito, ‘80s Meximelt, ‘90s Gordita Supreme and the ‘00s Caramel Apple Empanada.
On the official Taco website, Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery introduces the Decades Menu as:
“Everyone remembers the moment they fell in love with Taco Bell and that one special menu item that brings you right back. The Decades Menu and the merch we’re creating are an ode to our rich history and a love letter to our fans, whether they’ve been rolling through our drive-thru for decades or are just about to discover their first Caramel Apple Empanada.”
Out of the five items on the menu, four will be available at the respective Taco Bell outlets from October 31, 2024, and one will be added on November 21, 2024. Each item from the Taco Bell 'Decades Menu' will be available for a limited time, under $3.

Taco Bell was founded by Glen Bell in 1962 in Downey, California. It initially began as a hot dog stand, after which Glen had an idea to experiment with Mexican food. He then shifted to selling Tacos, opening the very first Taco Bell restaurant. He included other Mexican-style food items such as nachos and burritos.
The restaurant quickly became popular, becoming a fast-food hub for the American-Mexican population. Over the years, the brand gained widespread admiration, and the business soon started expanding through the 80s and the 90s. The creative menu, with the addition of new and combined food items, and different collaborations gave it immense global recognition and expansion.
Taco Bell is now a part of Yum! Brands and has thousands of locations worldwide. It keeps things fresh with innovative offerings like the Doritos Locos Taco and beloved throwbacks such as the new Taco Bell 'Decades Menu'.
