Cha Eun Woo on his career, upcoming Netflix drama, and other movie roles

Cha Eun Woo, who stars in the upcoming Netflix drama, The Wonder Fools, got up close and personal with Elle Korea during his interview for the magazine’s February 2025 issue. He spoke about some of the characters he has portrayed and his upcoming projects.

He described the roles he played in blockbuster K-dramas like True Beauty, My ID is Gangnam Beauty and A Good Day to Be a Dog as the building blocks of his career:

“I think of them as friends who have accompanied me through my 20s. They are also the foundation that shaped the Cha Eun Woo of today. Since I usually spend more than half a year living as these characters while acting, their influence on me is significant. At the same time, I feel that they are also shaped by who I am as a person.”
