“The Beam” is a direct tribute to Sacramento Kings’ acclaimed player De’Aaron Fox and the team’s Beam tradition. The global sneaker industry is abuzz with this latest drop.

The Curry Fox 1 “The Beam” catches the eye for its vibrant look and features. They are inspired by the Kings’ purple beam that lights up Sacramento’s night sky and the rallying chant,

"Light the Beam!"

The phrase initially originated during the Kings' 2022-2023 NBA season. That season, the team's point guard, De'Aaron Fox, and center, Domantas Sabonis' performances caught the public eye. Since then, specifically, their names have been referred to in the chant.

The sneakers have been adorned with a Salt Purple / Hyper Green / Lavish-535 colorway. They feature a purple upper. Royal purple mesh has formed its base.

Lighter purple accents have been featured on the fox-tail strap and zigzag panels. These shades create an effect that mimics the beam. Neon green shades are seen on the tongue fur, outsole, and as the background for the logo.
