It would seem that Epic Games’ Fortnite is recruiting the Mariah Carey skin to spread the Christmas cheer for its gamers. Although Fortnite hasn’t made any official announcement to this effect, it teased an Iceberg on its Instagram on December 18, 2024.
Gamers have interpreted the Ice Berg as alluding to Mariah Carey defrosting during the Holidays. Popular game leak sites like @iFireMonkey and @Egyptian_Leaker on X have confirmed that Carey will feature in the game as an NPC who hands out gifts to players for Winterfest.
@PopBase on X shared visuals of the supposed Mariah Carey skin on Fortnite wearing a Santa Suit, and netizens reacted to the news. One called her:
“THE QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS”
Other X users expressed that they would play Fortnite because of the songstress:
“I might download the game for this,” an excited X user commented.
“We will all be buying and using this skin,” another comment read.

According to iFireMonkey, Carey’s arrival on Fortnite will coincide with the game’s Winterfest 2024 event. The singer’s skin, according to reports, will be released alongside those of Santa Shaq and Snoop Dogg.
According to Egyptian_Leaker, the block of ice which has already appeared in the game will defrost after three days to reveal Carey in the game who will hand out gifts to players as an NPC.
According to Forbes, Carey’s character will be located between Brutal Boxcarts, Foxy Floodgate, and Seaport City. The game leak sites also unveiled loaded surprises for Fortnite gamers just in time for the Holidays.
Gamers are likely to see bread dog-filled backpacks, some new emotes, and the reappearance of Sgt. Winter is an NPC.
