Taylor Swift was snapped as she stepped out for dinner at Nobu Downtown, New York City, in a monochrome black outfit. The Fortnight hitmaker joined her parents, on the night of January 17, 2025, for a quiet dinner wearing an Area jacket and miniskirt.
She complemented the matchup with black tights and a Jimmy Choo bag. The chic look was rounded up by thigh-high Chloe boots. For accessories, the superstar wore a pair of Chanel earrings and silver rings. Her bold red lipstick and wavy brown hair added a pop of color to the dark look.

The dinner outing with her parents Scott and Andrea Swift was the singer’s first official public appearance in 2025 and some fans decoded that her all-black outfit was a subtle announcement of the release of Taylor’s version of the Reputation album.
The singer who has already re-released Taylor’s Version of most of her critically acclaimed albums has left fans wondering when the Reputation album would have its moment. Speaking with Sam Lansky of Time Magazine in December 2023, Swift spoke about re-recording the Reputation album:
"It’s a goth-punk moment of female rage at being gaslit by an entire social structure. I’m collecting horcruxes. I’m collecting infinity stones. Gandalf’s voice is in my head every time I put out a new one. For me, it is a movie now.”
