Taco Bell has announced the return of the crowd-favorite, Caramel Apple Empanadas in the Decades menu starting November 21. The news was shared on Instagram by food influencer, Snackolator. He posted a photo of the Empanadas and wrote,
"I cannot tell you how many times I've had people tell me they want these back - now is your chance!"
Snackolator is right as many fans rejoiced at the return of the Empanadas first introduced in 2000. The classical treat is returning to stores after a five-year hiatus. One user gleamed in excitement and wrote,
"YES IT'S GO TIME!"
Another user added,
"Should’ve never discontinued it."
Taco Bell has introduced the Decades menu to celebrate its 62nd anniversary. The menu is honoring five dishes that were previously discontinued. A customer noted that the Empanadas are reminiscent of his father's favorite food. He wrote,
"These aren’t my favorite, but my dad loved them so much he bought a bag of frozen ones when they were about to be discontinued. so I will get one wait 20 minutes for it to cool down and have it in his honor."
