Sony has officially launched a "Midnight Black" collection of PlayStation 5 accessories, the latest addition to the PS5 ecosystem. With prices ranging from $149.99 to $199.99, pre-orders for the collection open January 16, 2025, exclusively on PlayStation Direct and select retailers. The official launch is set for February 20, 2025.

The PS5 debuted with a white-themed console and accessories in 2020. However, Sony soon began launching alternate designs and colorways.

The new accessories are dressed in a matte black finish with subtle glossy details, including the PlayStation logo. The colorway matches existing "Midnight Black" accessories, such as the PS5 console covers and the original black DualSense controller.

Additionally, the collection is equipped with enhancements. For example, the Pulse Elite headset comes with a charging hanger, and the Pulse Explore earbuds include a charging case.

Starting January 16, 2025, at 10 AM ET, you can pre-order the PS5 Midnight Black Collection via PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. The official full launch is scheduled to follow on February 20, 2025.
