More details on the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration
The latest announcement comes after several leak sites, including ShiinaBR, shared rumors about more skins from Jujutsu Kaisen coming to the Battle Royale gaming platform. The shonen manga, which centers on a high school student who becomes the host of a powerful curse, became a hit worldwide.
The serialized anime version broke the Guinness World record as the most in-demand animated series. Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen had previously crossed paths in 2023 when skins of popular characters from the show were introduced into the game.
Gamers were excited to use the skins of Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Megumi Fushiguro. Cosmetic items from the first crossover included pickaxes, sprays, and back bling.
The latest collaboration between the gaming platform and JJK has teased the appearance of the anime’s protagonist, Ryomen Sukuna, and other characters like Mahito and Toji Fushiguro.
Fans may expect the new skins to launch alongside Back Blings and Pickaxes as the first collab featured Yuji’s Tsukamoto Bear and Slaughter Demon, Nobara’s Straw Doll and Hammer, and Megumi’s Kon Summon and Sword Harvesting tool.
Although the video game hasn’t announced the official launch date, it has been confirmed that the skins will be introduced in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates.
