After the recent announcement of the SLAM & Nike collab for the Air Foamposite One sneakers, SLAM has announced their new collab with Puma. SLAM and Puma are collaborating together for the release of SLAM x Puma MB.04.
The LaMelo Ball series by Puma is loved by Puma fans for its creativity and details. This new collaboration between SLAM and Puma celebrates 30 years of SLAM along with Melo's Issue 237 cover.
The SLAM x Puma MB.04 will launch on December 27. After the launch, it will be available on Puma's and SLAM's websites.
SLAM x Puma MB.04 comes in an infrared, blue, and metallic silver colorway
SLAM and Nick DePaula (SLAM's 30th anniversary collaborative designer) shared a post on Instagram on December 23 to announce their new partnership with Puma.
SLAM x Puma MB.04 comes in an infrared, metallic silver, and blue colorway. It also has gray laces, which go well with the red and silver patterns on the shoe.
It also shows LaMelo Ball's styles through eye-catching details and patterns. The upper of the shoe has a blue emblem and a cosmic theme.
The outsole of the shoe has "Not From Here" written on it, and the same is written in small text in the vamp. It also has SLAM written in the blue on the back of the shoes. The UFO graphic also appeared on the insoles and the bottom of the shoes.
SLAM also told in their recent press release that LaMelo Ball has been a great admirer of SLAM and has been a part of the SLAM family since his childhood. He appeared for the first time on SLAM at thirteen years of age.
SLAM also revealed that for LaMelo's SLAM cover shoot in Issue 237, he wore a LaFrance jersey and MB.01 shoes without laces. The player posed in the NBA logo posed.
They further added,
“It’s a little bit of a reach to say he’s already achieved ‘NBA Logo’ face-of-the-League status, but he’s on his way there, and we’re not afraid of a bold call. Consider this our prediction that one day we’ll all look back and realize that this cover made perfect sense.” Adam Figman (SLAM editor)
The shoes come in silver packaging, aligning with the shoe color. It also has a LaMelo's 2022 photoshoot picture.
