More details on the Louis Vuitton x Takashi collection starring Zendaya
The latest Louis Vuitton x Takashi collaboration is a reimagining of the early 2000s collab between the two brands. The new collection pays homage to the classic allure of the old collaboration while introducing fresh perspectives influenced by modern technology.
The French house and the talented artist worked together for a 2002 runway show under the creative management of Marc Jacob. The collection became a hit amongst fashion it-girls like Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton and has maintained relevance even today.
The second edition of the collaboration features more than 100 products and includes sneakers, wedge sandals, stylish mules, bags, trunks, and accessories. For the campaign, Zendaya was photographed by Inez & Vinoodh.
Zendaya posed with the LV monogrammed black mules and bag from the collection paired with a cropped white shirt and wide-leg denim pants. She imbibed Takashi’s flair for bright colors with brownish-blonde braids, soft makeup, and a playful demeanor.
The collection will be released in two segments. The first release is scheduled for January 1, 2025, while the second is hitting the market in March 2025.
