Puma announced the launch of Future 8 cleats on January 8. It's a new addition to the Future series that is famous for sports gear. The two famous products of this series are the football cleats and cricket bats.
The Future 8 cleats use FUZIONFIT³ in their upper, which provides a comfortable fit. The FLEXGILITY outsole is for stability so that players can run in any direction without difficulties. The GripControl Pro provides traction and balance so players can easily dribble or pass the ball.
Puma has teamed up with Neymar Jr., Kai Havertz, and Alex Greenwood as the faces of the Future 8.
Future 8 is already available on presale. One can get it from Puma's website and stores for $300. It will be released globally on January 16.
Future 8 is available in men's and women's sizes
Puma uploaded a new post on Instagram on January 8 announcing the release of Future 8 boots.
The caption featured the tagline of the Future 8 boots, "Yours To Create." It also said that Future 8 is an unlimited edition. The unlimited edition also includes KING ULTIMATE and ULTRA 5 in ULTIMATE and CARBON editions.
The Future 8 boots come in a black and purple colorway with glowing red accents throughout. The Puma logo is added in white color on the sides of the boots. It comes in both men's and women's sizes and is now available on the brand's website and in stores for $300.
The Teamhead Product Line Management Teampsport Footwear, Florian Nemetz, also described the new features of the Future 8 in detail by adding,
"The FUTURE has always been about giving players a boot to unleash their creativity. The FUTURE 8 features a new FUZIONFIT³ upper that has taken the unique fit properties of the FUTURE to the next level, giving players a fit that is an extension of their foot and provides unrestricted foot flexion giving players freedom of movement to showcase their skills on the pitch. This combined with the FLEXGILITY outsole gives players enhanced rotation and flexibility within the boot to create audacious and instinctive movements at top speed."
The upper is made of LYCRA with PWRTAPE and 3D Fuzionpods that fit your feet and give you comfort and support. The FLEXGILITY outsole is meant to help with movements with its circular stud design. This is combined with GripControl Pro for support throughout the game.
Puma has also used 20% recycled material on the boot's upper, making it sustainable while adding performance and comfort.
The women's Future 8 cleats are slightly slimmer than the men's version and are designed by keeping the women's foot anatomy in mind.
