Prada announces 2025 Re-Nylon Collection: Where to buy, items included, and more explored

Prada uploaded a new post on Instagram on January 9, announcing the launch of the Re-Nylon Collection. Prada is known for its sustainability and commitment to helping the environment. The Re-Nylon is a fabric introduced by Prada that is made by collecting plastics and recycling them into a yarn. This helps to replace the actual nylon with the Re-Nylon, serving both style and green practices.

For the Re-Nylon 2025 collection, the fashion brand is collaborating for the third time with National Geographic CreativeWorks. They are launching a four-episode series showing the history and story behind the Re-Nylon initiative. The series features Sadie Sink and Benedict Cumberbatch. It also features Giovanni Chimienti and Valentina Gottlieb, who are part of the SEA BEYOND project and Goodwill Ambassadors.

Along with addressing the environmental concerns and marine life around the sea of Europe and Central America, the series also focuses on how fashion can be beneficial to make a positive change.

Prada offers 191 products for both men and women in this eco-friendly collection. This includes bags, dresses, tops, sweaters, jackets, and more.

The standout item for women is the Re-Nylon pouch, which retails for €560. It has an attached leather wristlet, which is easily removable and has a drawstring closure. The bag is black in color with the Prada silver triangle logo in the front for branding.

Another featured item from the women's section includes the Re-Nylon bucket hat, which retails for €550. It comes in 10 colors to choose from and has the Prada silver triangle logo on the front.

The standout items from the men's section include a Re-Nylon and Saffiano leather backpack and a Re-Nylon and Saffiano leather duffle bag. The backpack comes with shoulder straps and a leather handle. It has five pockets to store items and has a patch pocket and zipper pocket on the inside. It retails for €3.100 and is available on the brand's website.

The duffle bag has woven nylon tap handles for easy handling and a zip closure for added safety. It has a zipper pocket on the inside and outside along with the Prada logo in the front. The bag comes in black and navy colorways and retails for €1.850.

The Re-Nylon 2025 collection is now available on Prada's website. The brand is also giving 1% of the money made from selling the Prada Re-Nylon for the SEA BEYOND Collection to the SEA BEYOND project.

The SEA BEYOND project was launched in 2019 in a partnership between the Prada Group and UNESCO-IOC, which focuses on protecting the ocean and the environment.
