Pop-Tarts has announced the comeback of a crowd-favorite flavor for the Pop-Tarts Bowl. The brand announced Frosted Cinnamon Roll as the third edible mascot for the annual football college game. The flavor was last seen at the Bowl in 2022 and made a comeback as minis earlier this year.
Last year marked the debut of the edible mascot with the Kansas State Wildcats gobbling up the Strawberry flavor! Cinnamon Roll is a nostalgic treat for many and will soon be rolled out in stores! The cinnamon roll flavor is available online for $5.99.
The Frosted Cinnamon Roll Pop-Tarts are making a comeback at the Pop-Tarts Bowl
The surprise has been revealed! Pop Tarts' official mascots of the season are Frosted Wild Berry, Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae, and drumroll: Frosted Cinnamon Roll. Fans can enjoy full-size Frosted Cinnamon rolls and even as a giant Mascot! The company confirmed the news in a press release and stated,
“Appearing as an Edible Mascot alongside Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae and Frosted Wild Berry, Frosted Cinnamon Roll will compete to achieve the ultimate pastry dream of being eaten by the winning team."
Heidi Ray, Senior Marketing Director of Pop-Tarts stated that they are always "listening" to their fans. She added,
“We know Pop-Tarts fans love to debate our flavors and were blown away by the level of engagement and speculation over the last two weeks, including correct guesses for Frosted Cinnamon Roll."
While the mystery mascot has been revealed, fans can look out for another surprise. The MVPs at the Pop Tarts Bowl will announce which of the giant mascots will be eaten by the winning team. This will only be revealed after the competitive games on December 28 this year!
