Orioles are ready to serve their customers on and off the field. The baseball team, along with its hospitality (Brick & Whistle) and beverage (Coca-Cola) partners, rolled out the new Birdland Value Menu. As the name suggests, the new menu brings value to its customers, with most items priced at $6 and below.
Fans can continue bringing outside food and beverages in line with gameday guidelines (Orioles.com/Guide). The new value menu comes amid rising prices at baseball matches. This can be a wave of relief for the fans since items are served at cheaper prices than in the past. A study by USA Today reportedly found that "the Orioles served the most expensive hot dog and second priciest beer in MLB," per Baltimore Sun. For instance, the hot dog was earlier priced at $8.25!
What to expect in the new Birdland Value Menu by Orioles
The Birdland Value Menu features 12 items, including adult beverages that fans can enjoy at the main concourse and upper deck. Catie Griggs, President of Business Operations, talked about the new launch in a press release. She noted that they want Oriole Park at Camden Yards to be a "welcoming space" for fans and added,
"We believe these changes will greatly enhance the overall fan experience, allowing everyone to create the experience that best fits their needs.”
She called the fans the "heart and soul of the organization" and noted,
"By offering more affordable food and beverage options, we are directly reflecting our commitment to them."
To keep it cost-effective for the customers, all the food and beverages have been priced at or below $6! Here is everything that you can find on the new menu (Please note that the listed prices are exclusive of Maryland Tax):
Customers can access the latest menus and concession locations of Oriole Park in the MLB Ballpark app.
With the new value menu, Orioles aims to make the stadium more attractive and cost-friendly for its fans. With the added advantage of bringing food and beverages from outside, the brand aims to make it a more customer-friendly environment.
