Nike is suspected of launching a new Sabrina sneaker. Nike has been partnering with Sabrina Ionescu for a long time now. Some of their famous shoes are Sabrina 1 and Sabrina 2. The collaboration with the basketball player started with the launch of Sabrina 1 sneakers.
Lily is used for Liliana Blaj, who is Sabrina Ionescu's mother. These sneakers pay tribute to Liliana for supporting Sabrina throughout her career and life decisions.
The announcement was made by DICK'S Sporting Goods through their launch calendar. It will launch on January 1 and will retail for $129.99. The official site of Nike hasn't confirmed the launch yet.
Nike Sabrina 2 "Lily" sneakers come in "pink" detailing
Nike Sabrina 2 "Lily" sneakers celebrate the mother-daughter connection between Sabrina Ionescu and Liliana Blaj.
The sneakers come in a pink, grey, black, and white colorway. The pink color represents her mother's love and nurturing, showing their deep bond. It also shows warmth and care. Pink also represents the lily flowers, which also come in pink.
There's an S written on the tongue that refers to Sabrina. One can also see the Nike logo in pink color on one side and black on the other side. It also has one more Nike logo on the outsole in pink.
There's also Sabrina Ionescu's signature near the midsole, making the sneaker extra special. Nike has also added floral patterns to the eyestay resembling lily flowers.
The back of the shoes is made with metallic leather. It also has the "I" symbol with pink dots on the heels.
The Nike Sabrina 2 "Lily" sneakers are expected to launch on January 1, 2025, at 10 am EST on DICK's Sporting Goods, which is a retail brand. Nike has yet to confirm the launch news.
