Exploring the design and other details about the Nike Pegasus Premium “Black/Bright Crimson” sneakers
The Nike Pegasus Premium “Black/Bright Crimson” sneakers have a sleek black upper complemented by bright crimson accents and metallic silver swooshes to create a visually appealing aesthetic for the customers.
According to Sneaker Freaker, the Nike Pegasus Premium shoes will also be available in several other colors, including Persian Purple, Atmosphere (which features a pink color), and Persian Violet. The shoes have also been released in the color Football Grey on January 30, 2025, for the customers, according to another report in Sneaker Shouts.
The Nike Pegasus Premium features the Air Zoom unit sandwiched between ZoomX foam and ReactX foam. It utilizes thin, low-profile air units for a lightweight feel. It is reminiscent of the Nike Air Max technology, which features large visible air-cushioning units for super absorption and comfort.
Plus, the mesh added on the upper side of the shoes ensures breathability and flexibility while keeping you comfortable during activities including running, jogging, etc. In addition to this, the Nike Pegasus Premium uses two key technologies.
The first is Nike’s ZoomX foam in the midsole, which was reportedly introduced in 2017. It is regarded as the lightest foam in Nike’s lineup. It was developed for high-performance racing shoes and was first utilized in the Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite.
Speaking of Nike’s React X foam, it is a bouncy foam that is utilized underneath the Air Zoom unit, specifically in the heel, so as to add softness while running or walking. It first appeared in the Nike InfinityRN 4.
Speaking about the Nike Pegasus Premium, Kathy Gomez, Nike VP NXT Footwear said in a news release:
“In running, when we combine Air with components like midfoot plates and with platforms like our proprietary foams, we create superior systems for performance.”
Gomez added,
“For the Peg Premium, we wanted runners to get the most energy return possible out of the sculpted Air Zoom unit. Not only does it double as a spring-like mechanism, the Air unit is also designed to engage with the entirety of your foot, no matter your gait pattern or stride length.”
According to Nike’s official website, the company debuted the Nike Pegasus Premium on January 30, 2025. The series is available for purchase at Nike’s online and offline stores.
